After update it is not possible to insert PIN Online backing accounts are not working properly. At least with major Russian banks through SaltEdge. Support could not resolve all issues that I faced before. It waste of money to pay for subscription. Probably It waste of money to buy this product at all.
The only one in the world with such capabilities Thanks guys!

It’s a good software, but one year ago i’ve asked to add some Italian Bank support to Money Wiz….ive contacted the support and ive written some mail with Bank Detail but no bank was added so far...
This app has all the features I wanted. However, when I purchased the app directly from the developer’s website the activation code would not work and the app was useless. So was their customer service. I finally got a refund, and purchased the app through the appstore (because it doesnt require an activation code) and it works just fine. They promise discounts and privoleges for those who purchase the app through their website, which I am dissapointed about but otherwise I’m happy.
It is totally backwards thinking and no support, ths is the worst I have ever tried, when is Apple going to learn
I’ve used this for several years now. It’s simple and functional - everything I need.
Please fix the white background of the scroll bar of my Accounts.
I’ve been using MoneyWiz for the better part of a year now and it has made my family’s personal finances so much more effective. It’s great to be able to sync across devices. The budgets, folders, scheduled payments/income/transfers work great. Once you get your accounts set up and get all of your regularly occuring income and expenses scheduled, you can create reports that accurately predict your financial flow. I used to have to do this in a spreadsheet application, but this does it all for me. We’re working on moving across the nation and buying a new home. The financial requirements to do that are great. So before we make any firm decisions, we’ll be consulting MoneyWiz to make sure we’re on track. It gives me financial confidence and clearity - I’d recommend it to anyone who feels like they need a better grasp on their money. P.S., I do not use the bank syncing feature so I cannot attest to how well it works.
It really ticks me off when I’ve gladly paid full price for an app, but they continue bugging me to write a review. I can understand this for free apps, but it just feels unprofessional when developers keep “demanding” this of their loyal paying customers. I realize that good reviews help them a lot, but maybe ask once, and then just drop it. You’ve got our money, but you’re running dangerously close to making your customers actually start hating you. I’m a retired software developer, and I know good software when I see it. I reviewed a gazillion Mac/iOS finance apps, and ended up choosing MoneyWiz because it is truly well thought out and rich is features. Their customizable transaction entry layout and their iOS version were the two things that tipped the scales for me. Really, the iOS version of this app is magical and effortless to use. This Mac version is also outstanding, at least for how I need to use it. There are a couple of things they could do to speed up the work flow. The main one for me is when entering an Expense, you start typing in the Payee’s name and it pops up a window to the right filled with the closest matches. That’s great. But then it feels like you have to jump through way too many hoops to select the one you want. Why do they make me hit the down arrow to move over to that second window, then arrow down in that separate window and then hit the space bar to select the one I want? It took me forever to figure out how to do that with the keyboard instead of having to always use the mouse. It just feels overly complicated. My other Mac apps simply drop down the list immediately below the field where I’m typing, and let me arrow straight down to the item I want and press Return. Much faster. I hope these guys will improve this process. Also, and this is minor, but it just makes me wonder why this has not come up a thousand times with previous customers… I’m fairly certain that everyone living in the free world who would need an app like this probably has to throw out their trash on some regular basis, and I’m also guessing they pay some local trash pickup service to haul it away every week. So then it stands to reason that if those same people are logging that expense into MoneyWiz, they would want to set up a category for Trash Pickup. It seems like a very common expense category, just like Electricity, Water and Internet. Why then is there no trashcan icon in this app? I went to the trouble of choosing icons for all of my other 25 or so categories, but had to choose a forklift as my trash pickup category, because that was the closest thing I could find to something being hauled away. Sure, put a rugby ball icon in there, because, you know, we all have a rugby ball category! Like I said, it’s a minor issue for sure, but it would thrill us to no end to see them release an update with a much-needed trashcan icon. It’s the little things in life ya know!
I have used MoneyWiz practically since they first became available and I absolutely love this app. It is my most used and most depended-on app on my computer. It also has fantastic support, I love working with Iliya especially who has helped me so many times with problems and ideas I have asked for. Plus, they keep improving it. It is not perfect but nothing is and what I have to do to make it perfect for me is worth the effort because nothing else out there is as good as this. Keep up the good work guys and I will continue to stick by you and boast about you to everyone I know.
Best application ever for finance personal use.
I’ve been using this app for about a year from now, started with version 1 and then version 2. Everything is good and working so far, keep the good work.
i’d been using a checkbook app for a while that I liked, but I didn’t have any way to access the information from other devices so I was happy to find MoneyWiz as a replacement. It allows me to keep track of, and update, my basic financial information from anywhere without being overly cumbersome. Lot’s of the other software solutions I came across seemed overly bloated for home use. One of the challenges when switching software can be the learning curve and I found MoneyWiz to be relatively easy to jump into right away. On the whole the switch has been a rousing success. My biggest critique of it concerns the auto-sync feature. While I LOVE having everything synced between devices, I don’t like that MoneyWiz syncs after every change you make. This adds a lot of lag to the experience, especially if I’m updating my checkbook after a weekend when I have multiple transactions to input. I’d be happy if there could be an option to have it sync before I closed the program (which is a back-up option already). This would speed up the upfront user experience, while keeping things synced reasonably well. Even with that, I would recommend MoneyWiz to users looking to keep their house books in order across multiple devices.
Up until MoneyWiz, I was using an old version of Quicken(2005) for tracking my accounts and my spending. I know. I don’t give up easily. But when I got a new computer and iPad, I needed to “catch up”, and have an app that would sync across devices. At first I tried Quicken again, but I hated it. I tried another app, but it was really too simple. It wasn’t comprehensive enough to cover all my accounts. So when I discovered MoneyWiz, I was elated! I know some have mentioned not having anything for investment accounts, but I don’t need anything like that- just good, old-fashion bank accounts, savings, credit cards, and such. I also use it to help me with budgeting by setting up “cash” accounts to help keep track of various spending during a month, like groceries, entertainment, and mortgage, for example. To me, it’s really great for this kind of thing, with the added plus that it automatically syncs accoss my two computers and my iPad. This was really helpful when we’ve travelled. I kept up with all our expenses, paid bills, and knew just how much we were spending. Not only that, but their support has been great, too. The two times I ran into a problem, I emailed them and heard back within a day with the solution. Thanks, guys! And as with any app, there is always room to improve. If there was one thing I would wish for, it would be in the reports feature. Reports has plenty of graphics to show the relationship between accounts for spending and income, which is nice to see on screen, but to print all that is too cumbersome. I like that you can save a report in *.csv file format, but trying to separate out only just the basic data, i.e., date, to, from, amount, account, and memo/info, is tedious. To format that data in a spreadsheet (which is what I use as a separate kind of backup) takes a lot more time that it should. Just sayin’.
Love this app.
I love this app. It works perfectly with the iPhone app. Does everything I need and nothing more. Please don’t change anything!!!!
After years of using quicken mac/windows, I can finally move on to innovation. This software is worth every penny, you wont regret. Beautiful UI.
Are you serious?! The developer has promised investment accounting since version 1.0 and we’re still waiting. It was promised again for early 2015 for version 2.0, which is why I gave them the benefit of the doubt by purchasing the upgrade across all my devices. Here it is October 2015 and STILL not even the rudimentary beginnings of promised support for features available in ALL of their competitors. So basically, we’re screwed again. Perhaps version 3? Or 4.0? Wish I could get my money back.
